Different membership classifications 

Membership of DBAV+EuroCham comes in two different categories: Corporate and Individual Members

Corporate Members

Large Enterprise 

Your business is considered a “Large Enterprise” when one of the following conditions are met: 

Size of company fulfills any of the following conditions

  • Has more than 500 employees in Vietnam; or
  • More than 1,000 employees globally; or
  • Has Operations in more than 5 countries
  • Only 1 Nominated Representative per Ordinary Corporate Membership is entitled to voting rights
  • A Large enterprise (LE) Corporate member is entitled to nominate 4 Representatives to EuroCham
  • Representative offices are judged by their mother company structure and not by their own size in Vietnam

Small Medium Enterprise 

Your business is considered “SME Enterprise” when: 

  • Has less than 500 employees in Vietnam; and
  • Has less than 1,000 employees globally; and
  • Has Operations in less than 5 countries 

Note:

  • Only 1 Nominated Representative per Ordinary Corporate Membership is entitled to voting rights
  • A small and medium enterprise member (SME) enterprise is entitled to nominate 2 Representatives to EuroCham
  • Representative offices are judged by their mother company structure and not by their own size in Vietnam

Individual Members

This membership type is usually not applicable, but in some exceptional cases it can be.

  • National of any EU Member State and actively involved in business, trade, investment and/or other permitted activities in Vietnam but are not members of an organisation which could become an Corporate Member; and
  • Ordinarily resident in Vietnam.
